Effective date: 13 September 2026.
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and KCompounds ("we", "us", the "Operator") and governs your use of the KCompounds software platform: the website at kcompounds.com, its applications, interfaces, databases and services (the "Software"). It forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service. By accessing the Software you agree to this EULA.
1. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Software through the interfaces we provide, for the purpose of using the platform in accordance with the Terms of Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Restrictions
Except as expressly permitted by this EULA or by law that cannot be excluded, you must not, and must not permit or assist any third party to:
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software;
- access the Software by any automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or headless clients), or harvest, extract, or bulk-download any data from it;
- extract or re-utilise the whole or any substantial part of any database comprised in the Software, or systematically extract insubstantial parts amounting to the same, whether manually or by automated means;
- use the Software or its data to build, train, improve, or populate any competing or derivative product, service, dataset, index, ranking, or machine-learning model;
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, mirror, frame, or otherwise make the Software available to any third party;
- remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notice, attribution, or source badge displayed in the Software;
- circumvent any technical restriction, authentication measure, or rate limit;
- interfere with the integrity or performance of the Software or the data it contains.
3. Ownership
The Software (including all software code, design, user interface, branding, editorial content, and the selection, arrangement and compilation of all data in it) is and remains the exclusive property of the Operator and its licensors, protected by copyright, database right, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. This EULA is a license, not a sale. Vendor materials and user content displayed in the Software remain the property of their respective owners.
4. User content and feedback
Content you submit through the Software is licensed to us under the Terms of Service. If you send us suggestions, ideas or feedback about the Software, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
5. Updates and availability
We may update, modify, add, remove or discontinue features of the Software at any time, with or without notice. Features marked beta, preview or experimental are provided for evaluation and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. We do not guarantee that the Software will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
6. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it, and when your account or access is terminated under the Terms of Service. On termination, the license in Section 1 ends immediately and you must cease all use of the Software. Sections 2 (in respect of retained data), 3, 4, 7 and 8 survive termination.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available". The disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Terms of Service (Sections 15 and 16) apply to this EULA as if set out here in full.
8. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights of your place of residence.
