This Notice applies to the entire KCompounds platform operated by KCompounds and to every product sold on it. It forms part of the Terms of Service and prevails over any conflicting statement anywhere on the platform or in any vendor material.
1. Every product is for laboratory research use only
All products offered by vendors on this platform are research chemicals supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and development use by qualified researchers. They are not for human use, not for veterinary use, and not for any form of in-vivo use.
No product on this platform is, or may be used as:
- a drug or medicine;
- a food, beverage or dietary supplement;
- a cosmetic;
- a medical device;
- an agricultural or household chemical;
- an ingredient or component of any of the above.
2. No regulatory approval
No product on this platform has been evaluated, approved, or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other regulatory authority, for any use. Statements on this platform have not been evaluated by any regulatory authority. No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
3. No medical advice
Nothing on this platform (including vendor pages, product descriptions, compound background sections, testing data, ratings, reviews, community content, articles, or interviews) is medical, health, dosage, or safety advice, and none of it may be relied on as such. Editorial and community content is provided for informational purposes about the research-chemical supply market only. The platform, its operator, and its contributors are not licensed to provide medical advice and do not do so.
4. Purchaser responsibility
By ordering any product through this platform, the purchaser represents and warrants that they:
- are purchasing solely for legitimate laboratory research purposes;
- are qualified, and appropriately equipped, to handle research chemicals safely;
- will not use any product in or on humans or animals, and will not supply it to any person for such use;
- will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the purchase, importation, storage, handling, use and disposal of the product in their jurisdiction, and have confirmed the product's legal status in that jurisdiction before ordering;
- act as importer of record for international shipments and bear sole responsibility for customs compliance;
- accept full responsibility and liability for all use, storage, handling and disposal of the product from the moment of delivery.
5. Vendor statements
Vendors are independent third parties. Any claim a vendor makes about a product, on this platform or elsewhere, is the vendor's own statement, not the platform's. The platform does not verify, adopt or endorse vendor product claims. Testing data displayed on the platform reflects specific analyzed samples only and is not a warranty of any other unit, batch or shipment.
6. Reliance, no duty to monitor, refusal and termination
The platform and its vendors are entitled to rely conclusively on the purchaser's representations in this Notice and in the Terms of Service, without any duty to verify them. Neither the platform nor any vendor assumes any duty to monitor, screen, investigate, or supervise any purchaser, any order, or any use of any product, and neither the presence of a product nor the acceptance of an order is a statement or assurance about any purchaser's qualifications or intended use. Responsibility for compliance with this Notice rests entirely with the purchaser.
Without limiting the foregoing, the platform and its vendors may, but are never obliged to, refuse, cancel, or decline to fulfil any order for any reason, including suspected breach of this Notice, and may terminate the account of any user who breaches it. No liability to any person arises from exercising, or declining to exercise, any right in this section. The sole remedy for a refused or cancelled order is a refund of the amount paid for that order.
If you do not agree with every part of this Notice, do not order any product from this platform.
