If Part 2 was the announcement, then Part 3 is what happened next, because the announcement didn’t end the behaviour, it just shifted it.
Removal of Dissent
Just before the shutdown, members who questioned the situation were removed and when challenged, Vanessa explained:
“He wasn’t concerned, he was causing trouble… He was a continued issue in this group.”
And:
“If I wanted to scam everyone I would have shut everything down and not said a word.”
This moment was subtle, but important, because it marked a shift from open discussion to controlled conversation. Removing someone who was questioning missing funds, asking for clarity, highlighting inconsistencies didn’t resolve the issue, it just changed who was allowed to speak about it.
The Chat Shutdown
On March 22, the chat inside the main server was paused. Public questioning stopped and the pressure for proof dropped. Any information became centralised. So as a result the control of the narrative shifted from the group to a single source and at this point, the situation was no longer being tested in real time. It was being managed.
Meanwhile, Elsewhere
While the main chat was being shut down, activity was already picking up somewhere else. Inside the 1Vial server, preparation was underway. Announcements began appearing almost immediately. The messaging was structured, calm, and forward-looking.
Immediate Narrative Framing
Before most members had processed what had happened, a new narrative began to form. First, a warning:
“Beware of people trying to capitalise on this situation… people who DM you saying ‘hey I have a source’ are probably scamy.”
This did something subtle, it discouraged outside alternatives, while positioning the existing network as the safer option.
Positioning as Victims
Shortly after, another message reframed the situation:
“We had no involvement in the GB… we did have money ourselves tied up in it…”
This was a key pivot. Instead of:
“What happened to the money?”
The framing became:
“We’re in this with you.”
This did three things:
Aligned admins with victims
Reduced suspicion toward them
Built emotional solidarity
Trust Leveraging
The messaging leant heavily on prior experience:
“We hope the experiences you’ve had with us in the past lends itself to trust…”
This was not evidence, it was reputation used as proof and in grey-market communities, that’s powerful as people rely on history over documentation and familiarity replaces verification
The Contradiction
At the same time, contradictions began to surface. One statement read:
“At this point the vendor is not cooperating… I’m out $1800. Barrel is out $1800.”
Followed by:
“But the vendor is honouring the agreement.”
Those two claims don’t sit comfortably together since if the vendor is not cooperating,
and funds are tied up or inaccessible, then what exactly was being “honoured”?
The 1Vial Announcement
On March 26, the transition became explicit. A new announcement stated that single-vial sales were ending and that this decision was because of what had happened to Vanessa, that they can’t risk legal action, and that the server’s name would change to Health and Wellness Initiatives. However, on reddit, people were saying that the chat was shut down because people were asking for proof and Vanessa could not or would not provide it.
Continued Sales Through DM
Despite public claims that sales had stopped, the private activity told a different story.
In direct messages, Barrelchest stated;
“For some people, definitely… I have a ton of inventory I have nowhere else to move.”
This suggested that sales did not stop, they just moved but also drew attention to the fact he had a ton of inventory to move.
The Migration
Shortly after the collapse, members began receiving invitations. A new funnel appeared to open up.
A user named “Accused” was inviting members into Inner Circle Research Skool where they are offering single vial sales, direct kit buying options and access to suppliers It’s a private, gated community and a future paid model. That same account is connected to multiple overlapping communities:
Opaline Health & Science
Health and Wellness Initiatives
WBS Peptide
This was not just a new group appearing, it was a network shift.
Re-Onboarding the Same Audience
What followed is familiar. Inside the new group:
“We’re still building things out…”
“More features coming soon…”
“Single vial purchase options coming soon”
“Private community for serious individuals”
This was not crisis communication, it was early-stage community building again.
The Structure Reappears
Inside the new environment a private, gated system was established where product discussions begin to re-emerge
“single vial options coming soon” signals retail sales
additional items (e.g. BAC water) appear
The structure mirrored the original almost exactly:
Community → Trust → Access → Product
Why This Matters
This was the critical shift. After a failed group buy, loss of funds and rising distrust, you then see new access points being created, new sales channels opening, the same audience being re-captured. The messaging reinforced it:
“fraction of normal prices” → price incentive
“private community” → exclusivity
“free now, paid later” → urgency
This was not recovery communication, it’s re-onboarding.
What This Completes
At this stage, the pattern is fully visible:
1. Trust is built
2. A group buy consolidates demand
3. A failure event is introduced
4. The narrative explains the loss
5. The conversation is controlled
6. The audience is redirected
7. Sales resume elsewhere
And the same buyers are now back inside the system.
The Aftermath
By this point, the pattern is no longer theoretical, there are victims. The reported losses include:
$200
$500
$1300
$1400
multiple others in the $400 to $600 range
And many more beyond that. One member wrote:
“I was scammed out of over $600 in product… didn’t realise it was a scam… while waiting for delays to resolve”
Another update followed. No one has been successful at recovering their money. Refund requests were declined. Balances remained unpaid. The losses stayed where they were.
Signals Around the Network
After I posted my article in K-Hole server, more connections began to surface. Screenshots circulated claiming prior legal issues tied to Vanessa. Other users pointed to similar patterns appearing in different groups:
delays explained through logistics issues
missing items attributed to stock shortages
partial shipments used to maintain credibility
At the same time, members noted something unusual, many of the accounts that had reacted in the Opaline server chat did not actively participate raisiny the possibility of inactive account or controlled engagement
How to Spot the Pattern
By this stage, the pattern has become clear.
The timing doesn’t add up
If a shipment was genuinely seized, replacement stock would usually take time to reorder, process, and move through shipping. If a new group suddenly has stock almost immediately, that raises an obvious question:
where did it come from?
The missing paper trail
A real seizure claim should leave some form of documentary trail: a seizure notice, tracking history, a case reference, or at minimum something verifiable. If none of that is shown, scepticism is justified.
The hidden tracking
If buyers funded a group buy but were never allowed to see the master tracking number or any shipment evidence, then they were being asked to trust a story without proof.
Protect Yourself
Do not assume “domestic” means safe.
A domestic middleman can still control:
the information
the payment flow
the story told afterwards
If an admin claims a seizure but cannot provide credible evidence of it, then buyers are left with two possibilities:
the shipment was never placed
or the shipment was not lost in the way they claimed
Either way, the burden of doubt falls on the organiser, not the buyers asking questions.
How to Spot the Pattern
At this point, certain signals have become clear.
The timing doesn’t add up
If a shipment is genuinely seized, replacement stock takes time.
Reordering, processing, and shipping don’t happen instantly.
If inventory appears almost immediately elsewhere, the question becomes:
👉 where did it come from?
The missing case trail
A real seizure leaves evidence:
seizure notice
tracking history
case reference
documentation
If none of that exists,
then the explanation relies entirely on trust.
The hidden tracking
If buyers fund a group buy but are never allowed to see:
the master tracking number
shipment proof
or any verifiable logistics
Then they are not verifying a shipment.
👉 They are trusting a story.
Protect Yourself
Do not assume “domestic” means safe.
A domestic middleman can still control:
the information
the payment flow
the narrative that follows
If a seizure is claimed but no credible evidence is provided,
then only two possibilities remain:
the shipment was never placed
or it was not lost in the way described
Either way:
👉 the burden of doubt falls on the organiser, not the buyers asking questions
What This Is
This is not a one-off failure.
It is a structure.
A repeatable pattern built on:
trust before verification
narrative before evidence
and redirection instead of resolution
The Phoenix Model
A group buy collapses.
The explanation appears.
The conversation is controlled.
The audience is redirected.
And the system continues, just somewhere else.
