By now JEEP’s statements have been analysed from every angle. We’ve had three statements, changing explanations, and mixed reactions. But there’s another part of the story that sits outside the statements themselves and it’s what happens after the product leaves the vendor.
The timing
The first endotoxin result on the orange cap T30 came back at an estimated ~1300 EU/vial. That result is dated March 13.

On the 18 March, a reseller, PeptiDutch, launched a promotion for that same product.
Not before, not after clarification, but after the result was already out.

Moving the stock
The kits were being sold at around €100 per kit and at the same time, the same reseller was also selling another group’s HPLC COA to customers for around $20 per piece to promote the product.
That matters, because HPLC COAs do not show endotoxin results, they show the mass and purity. The endotoxin results are on a separate COA. So what was being provided to customers did not reflect the issue that had already been identified.
What the customer saw
From the buyer’s side, this creates a very specific situation. There is a product linked to high endotoxin results, with a COA that doesn’t show those results, a promotion encouraging sales and no clear link between the documentation and the actual risk
At that point, the problem is no longer technical, it becomes informational.
When a refund was requested
In at least one case, when a buyer who’d bought 3 kits, asked for a refund, only the $20 COA cost was offered back and not the €100 kit itself
That distinction matters, because the issue was no longer being treated as the kit itself, it was being narrowed to the COA and the product remained the customer’s loss.
What happened next
The reseller was subsequently banned from multiple groups, but by then, the product had already been sold.
What this adds to the story
JEEP’s statements focus on what went wrong, why it happened and what will change.
But this sits downstream of that as it shows what happens when a problem is identified but the product is already in circulation and decisions are made anyway
The statements dealt with the explanation.
The reseller shows why the problem did not end there.
